Burnham FC – Combined Counties Football League Premier Division North 2022/2023

The league campaign has now finished and our first team have delivered. During their recent end of season awards presentations Chairman Glenn Skivington expressed his gratitude for their hard work and his appreciation for what the players and management team had achieved this season. Bearing in mind the changes in management at the start of the season, being only a second season playing on a new artificial pitch whilst adjusting their playing style when at away grounds and then introducing several new young players into the squad, finishing 4th in the league is indeed a successful league season.

Following an initial introduction by manager Ben Murray the awards were presented by team mates to individual players throughout the evening in front of the player’s families, close friends and a few of our Burnham Ultras.

Burnham FC finished 4th in a season where Ascot United dominated the league and won the FA Vase 1-0 at Wembley Stadium against Newport Pagnell Town. Towards the end of the evening Assistant Manager Kavi Luchowa read out the team stats and it was clear throughout that every number was a positive reflection on Burnham’s first team performance compared with finishing in 13th place last season – well done lads!
