Burnham FC Junior and youth teams

Burnham Football Club is proud of its association with grassroots junior football. Especially when it comes to developing the skills of young players from the local community. Our vision is to create a pathway for young players into a senior squad including our own first team.

Our current Burnham FC junior and youth teams are:

Little Blues Toddler Football

We provide a safe and secure ‘indoor’ environment, on a soft floor playing surface, where your child can experience the perfect introduction to sport and take their first steps into the wonderful world of football. Players can wear their own favourite football kit and trainers rather than paying a higher subscription fee that includes a branded kit. Each class is tailored with age specfic activities. So, your child can have lots of fun while learning the basics.

Football Development Centre

Coaching for boys and girls aged 5-13 years at Burnham Football Club

*Please note: Due to Cup Finals there will be a change of day for our Football Development Centre, from Fridays to Tuesdays during the month of May 2024. More information will be sent to existing Dev Centre parents in due course.

Additionally, Burnham Football Club plays host to the Football Development Centre, typically on a Friday evening depending on matches. Whether your child plays for a club, a school team or simply wants to give it a go for the first time the Football Development Centre is an ideal environment to discover, learn and improve.

We utilise the FIFA Certified 3G pitch and onsite facilities at Burnham Football Club, ensuring players aged from 5 to 13 years develop as ballers, remain safe, while still having lots of fun. Our aim is to initiate and support the long term development of your child’s journey in football, providing skills they can use at school or at their regular football club.

Burnham Football Club is an FA Charter Standard club

Players benefit from:

• Fun and engaging coaching sessions, within a safe environment.
• Actively developing individual ball skills, communication, confidence and teamwork.
• On a state-of-the-art FIFA Certified 3G artificial pitch in groups based on age and ability. Providing no end of fun, regardless of the weather conditions.

• Undercover seating and pitch-side snack bar

How much? £30 per month or £58.00 per month including our usual sibling discount if you subscribe with a second child.

Adverse Weather Conditions

Football is a winter sport. Therefore, we will continue to play outside unless it is dangerous to do so (i.e. lightning strikes, hail stones, gale force winds with the possibility of falling debris). Please check local weather reports and make sure your child is appropriately dressed for playing football, ensure they bring a drink, if necessary a change of clothes including socks and underwear and even some sun cream during the summer months.
