The 1878 Stadium, Burnham Football Club is approximately 2 miles from the M4 junction 7 (Slough), approximately 5 miles from the M40 junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and approximately 15 miles from M40 junction 4 (Handy Cross, High Wycombe).
FROM THE M40
Exit at junction 2 of the M40 and follow the A355 to Slough. Take a right turn onto the A4. When you reach the roundabout with M4 signposted to the left follow the directions below. Please note that it is only advisable to take short cuts, across country from the M40 (J2) if driving a car or small vehicle.
FROM THE M4 (BEST OPTION FOR COACHES AND LARGE VEHICLES)
From junction 7 of the M4 (Slough) take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A4 signposted towards Maidenhead. Continue on this road until you reach a roundabout with a Sainsbury’s Superstore on your left and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout into Lent Rise Road. Follow this road, under the railway bridge (height limit 13’3’’), over the double mini roundabouts passing the petrol station on your right. Continue up the slight incline until your reach another pair of mini roundabouts. Take the first exit, then second exit turning immediately right into Wymers Wood Road. The entrance to the ground and the main car park is on the right, through the blue gates.
You can also take the exit at Juntion 10 for Maidenhead (A404, Marlow By-Pass)
FROM THE A404 (MARLOW BY-PASS) –
(NOT APPROPRIATE FOR COACHES, WIDTH RESTRICTIONS)
Exit at Marlow / Bourne End and head through Bourne End village high street. Take the first exit at the roundabout, 2nd exit at the next and follow the directions towards Cliveden. Turn right at the T junction and take the next left near The Feathers Pub. Follow this road, passed Burnham Cricket Club and turn ‘sharp’ left into Wymers Wood Road when the double mini roundabouts come into view. Do not attempt the first option for Wymers Wood Road on the left near the golf club as this is a very narrow lane and very few opportunities to pass.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FROM THE M40 FOR CARS ONLY
(NOT APPROPRIATE FOR COACHES, WIDTH RESTRICTIONS)
From M40 junction 2 take A355 towards Slough. After quarter of a mile turn right across the dual carriageway signposted Burnham. Follow road signposted Burnham. As you reach Burnham you will see 30mph signs. Turn right immediately into Poyle Lane. Take second left down Pink Lane and follow road to junction. Turn left and after a quarter of a mile you will be at Burnham FC on the left.

There is free parking for approximately 100 cars inside the ground plus specific parking spaces dedicated for coaches. Please contact the club if you are travelling by coach and require a reserved coach space.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- Burnham Railway Station (Elizabeth Line) – 1.7mile/ 30 mins walk to Burnham Football Club.
- Buses – Nos 5, 12, 53 and 702.
